Dear Mother + Father:

Jeanette came before dinner last night - leaves tonight. I went off to dinner with her, + then left her to go to [Temple]. It was a regular mob gathering. Some [very] funny things hap-pened. Will write tomorrow. Altogether it was most un-satisfactory.
