Monday morning Dec 9. Dearest daddykins, I got your letter and one from sister at the post office after church and was monstrous glad to hear from you both. What a grand time you must be having! How you must enjoy hearing Queen Margaret’s voicing ring through our ancestral palace! I hope sister won’t wear herself out though with all the festivities. She’s got to be pert and spunky when I get home. I had the most glorious time Saturday afternoon that I’ve had yet. I skated on the lake for two hours and didn’t fall down once either. Polly and Phillis both skate well and we had a fine time. My but some of the girls here can skate!! Monday afternoon. I have just gotten the registered letter, and I am ever and ever so much obliged for the money. I got a nice letter from Eloise this morning. I have had my sleeper engaged for about a week. Just consider the fact, honeybug that in less than a week you will skip down to the station to meet your little Peggie. POUGHKEEPSIE DEC 10 930A 1901 N.Y. Mr. Joseph. P. Shipp 1010 N. Del.
