Wednesday morning. Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Dearest Mamie I got another invitation from Constance to come down this Friday but I sent regrets for several reasons. One was that our class is to give a show to the freshmen on Saturday and I have been made chairman of one of the committees to get it all up. I’ll tell you about it on Sunday. Polly had an interview with Miss Wylie t’other day in the course of which Miss Wylie asked her with whom she discussed J English out of classes (Miss W. wants us to talk to each other as much as possible about our work). Polly said “with Miss Shipp.” Miss Wylie said “now I think Miss Parrot Miss Shipp is an excellent person for you to discuss things with, she has a very clear head.” I had an interview with her myself yesterday and she said all sorts of nice things to me. She chided me for not having to see her and told me to be sure and come soon, wasn’t that angelic of her? I was never before so sufficiently urged to better an acquaintance with an instructor. I have to go to Greek now so farewell till Sunday. I’ll have lots to tell you about them. Oodles of love Peg. Miss Wylie POUGHKEEPSIE, NOV 11 130PM 1903 N.Y.
