Wednesday morning Dearest May Louise I really did begin to write this to you en route to New York -- then I thought I’d wait till I’d tried on my dress, then I didn’t get back until late on Wed-nesday and yesterday I was sort of done up. I’ve got such slews to tell you I don’t know where to begin. First -- the express package arrived yesterday and the materials for the suit and the waist are just too pretty for anything and as soon as classes are over to day I’ll take them to Miss [Badgely] -- oh dear there goes the bell. I’ll write a whopper of a letter this afternoon -- in the meantime this is just to let you know I haven’t absolutely forsaken you. Oh such lots of love Peg. The class day gown is lovely! I’ll describe it all to you. POUGHKEEPSIE N.Y.
