Whereas: We, the members of the Vassar Club of
Detroit, feel the irreparable loss, sustained
by the College in the death of Henry Van Ingen,
for so many years head of the Art Department and
friend and adviser of the students -
Therefore, be it resolved: that we express to
the Faculty our sense of deep personal loss in
one who gave us so many impulses toward "the right
the true, the beautiful and the good", and our
sympathy with them in this bereavement.
Likewise, be it resolved: that a copy of these
resolutions be sent to the Faculty.
