Whereas by the death of Walter D. Wheeler
Vassar College has lost an officer whose
long and faithful service, whose kind and
obliging spirit have endeared him to the
officers, alumnae and students of Vassar
College during the entire period of its
existence:
Therefore, be it resolved that this Faculty
express its sense of personal loss at his
death and extend to his family its sympathy
in the midst of their affliction.
