My dear DoctF. Raymond
We received your kind verbal invitation by
your Daughter Nelly yesterday P.M. to attend a little social informal
gathering of several of assistant3 Proffs Teachers &c in your apartments
in the College this evening,     I need not reply that, that is just the oppor-
tunity needed by me to make a more special pleasent acquaintance with
them, but I am constrained to deny myself that pleasure by reason of phy-
sical indisposition.
Wishing you and all of them a cordial & pleas ent evening repast
