Page 1 Utica September 19th [1839] My Dear Lib I write you a few lines merely to say that I will be at [Wampsville] Saturday. I shall take the afternoon train so you must calculate at what time I shall be there. Miss Stewart is not going with me but will make her visit in about three weeks from this time. As she cannot stay longer than one week, she prefers being there during my last week. - You see dear Lib I propose making quite a long stay at Petersboro. I had a letter from Ellen Cochran the day before I left home, saying that she had given up the idea of visiting Peterboro again this Fall. Alvin Stewart jr. is to escort me to your house, he is perfectly delighted with the idea, I am in haste, or might fill this sheet with praises of the Stewart’s. - but I will reserve all ______________________ Page 2 till I see you face to face. Give my [blank] to all my cousins and accept a kiss for yourself. Adieu your cousin Elizabeth Cady. P.S.
