Writer, editor, art collector born in Boston, MA, 11 December 1921. Son of Roland F. Pease and Mary Hallett Pease. Father of poet and publisher Deborah Saltonstall Pease and Roland F. Pease, Jr.

Correspondence, writings, photographs and other material relating to Pease's work and family life as well as his civic and religious affiliations and connections to the art world. Of particular interest are materials relating to his friendship with Tibor de Nagy and his involvement with the Tibor de Nagy Gallery in New York City. Also of note is a large cache of genealogical material relating to the Pease, Folsom and Saltonstall families. The collection also includes material relating to his involvement several civic and religious organizations including the Society of Mayflower Descendants, the New England Society and St. James' Church in New York City.
