Biographical Note
Lucinda Franks was born in 1946 and graduated from Vassar College in 1968. She has worked as a journalist, reporting for the United Press International, The New York Times, The Atlanic, and other publications. Franks's reporting on the life and death of Diana Oughton, a member of the anti-war terrorist organization, The Weathermen, earned her a Pulizer Prize for National Reporting in 1971. She is also author of two acclaimed memoirs, My Father's Secret War(2007), about her father's service as a secret agent during World War II, and Timeless: Love, Morgenthau, and Me (2014).
