Scope and Content Note
Materials from the various graduating classes, including minutes and account books from class organizations, alumnae questionnaires, programs, bulletins, invitations, songbooks, reunion materials, clippings and articles on class members, and some notes and letters.
The records of the Class of 1889 include one volume of biographical sketches prepared for the 50th reunion, containing information on family, career, travels, and reminiscences of college years; one biography from a physician includes her reactions to studying with Carl Jung in the 1920s.
The records of the Class of 1914 inlclude 3 scrapbooks containing photographs, clippings, programs, and captions concerning the women in the class and their subsequent lives, circa 1910-1964.
The collection contains no records for the classes of 1945-4 or 1954.
TopArrangement
The collection is organized into series for each graduating class, beginning in 1867 and ending 1979. Records of the classes of 1980 and later are grouped together. The last series in the collection consists of copper printing plates and printing blocks of class trees and class bookplates from 1868 to 1923. Materials within each series are arranged alphabetically by title.TopAccess and Use
