Scope and Content Note
The records contain course schedules and student records produced by the Vassar College Registrar, including permanent records and student demographic information. The Alphabetical registers contain lists of attending students for each academic year and include date of birth, religious denomination, and city and state of residence. The Alumnae Register contains biographical information. The Matriculation Book contains the signatures of matriculated students. Permanent records contain student grades.

Access
Student permanent records require the permission of a family member to access. Student records recorded after 1930 are restricted to College use only. The remainder of the collection is open for research according to the regulations of the Vassar College Archives and Special Collections Library without any additional restrictions.

Permission to quote (publish) from unpublished or previously published material must be obtained as described in the regulations of the Vassar College Archives and Special Collections Library .
