Word Play: An Interactive Response to Loneliness

Like most people, I’ve struggled with loneliness and everything that comes with it. The depression, the anxiety, the social ineptitude, the non-interaction; I’ve seen it all, babey, and I wanted to make art in response. Not art that wallowed in the emptiness, but rather filled it in. Thus, the first iteration of the cards were created.

I want this work to encourage interaction among individuals, but that can be difficult even under the best of circumstances. So here is a small space designed to forge connection among people. Interact. Learn something new from an old friend, a new friend. Enjoy it and revel in it. Please. Thank you.
