Dear Nathan,
I can imagine how you must have had to fight it out with those people in Breslau. I don’t know whether one should be more surprised at their dishonesty or their stupidity. I hope you were only amused and not annoyed. How good it would have been if I could have given you a couple of pills containing something of my temperament in concentrated form for you to swallow.
Whether Jew or Christian,
It’s a beast.
I very much look forward to your visit as well as the report on your travel adventures.
Albert’s wife (Friedi) flew to Zurich in a poorly concealed attempt to work to Tetel’s disadvantage as a vulturine spy. I’m in suspense as to what Dr. Meili’s next statement will be.

Ich kann mir vorstellen, wie Sie sich mit diesen Leuten in Breslau haben herum schlagen müssen. Ich weiss nicht, ob man sich mehr wundern soll über deren Unehrlichkeit oder über deren Dummheit. Hoffentlich haben Sie sich nicht geärgert sondern nur amusiert. Wie gut wäre es gewesen, wenn ich Ihnen ein paar Pillen hätte mitgeben können, die in konzentrierter Form etwas von meinem Temperament enthalten, und die Sie hätten schlucken können.

Ich freue mich schon sehr auf Sie und auch auf den Bericht über Ihre Reise-Abenteuer.
Alberts Frau (Friedi) ist nach Zürich geflogen in einem schlecht verhüllten Versuch, sich als Ausgeierin zu Ungunsten von Tetel zu bethätigen. Ich bin schon gespannt auf Dr. Meili’s nächste Aeusserung.
