Dear Nathan,
I have looked through the papers and declare my approval of your suggestions and trust that you made the right choice. Sunday evening I am probably going to be coming to New York to Bucky’s and shall be staying there 1–2 days. Then I hope to speak to you about all the rottenness in this big world. The only good thing therein seems to me to be that Hitler, in awareness of his power, will perpetrate enough idiocies to unite the world against G.—Wilhelm in an even more grotesque edition.

Ich habe die Papiere durchgesehen und erkläre mich mit Ihren Vorschlägen einverstanden und vertraue darauf, dass Sie Ihre Auswahl richtig getroffen haben. Sonntag Abend werde ich wohl nach New York zu Bucky’s kommen und 1–2 Tage dort bleiben. Dann hoffe ich Sie über alle Miesigkeiten der grossen Welt zu sprechen. Das einzige Gute scheint mir darin zu liegen, dass Hitler im Bewusstsein seiner Macht genug Thorheiten begehen wird, um die Welt gegen D. zusammenzubringen—Wilhelm in noch groteskerer Ausgabe.
