Dear Nathan,
I already wrote to Rosenfeldˣ that we need a scientific or educational advisory board. But now, if I think about it calmly, I don’t think much of it. We need a couple of people who have understanding, and mutual trust and reliability in the Jewish sense. They don’t need to be officially organized at all, for the time being at least. However, you should come to an agreement as to which couple of people should put together the curriculum and the teaching staff. Later, the teaching faculty can take these matters in hand themselves. We must discuss this business once before I do anything with Rosenberg.ˣˣ
Maybe this is nonsense, but I hardly think so. In the end, one or two always do it and the others only complicate things.

Lieber Nathan!
Ich habe bereits Rosenfeldˣ geschrieben, dass wir einen scientific oder educational advisery Bord brauchen. Nun aber, wenn ich ruhig darüber nachdenke, halte ich nicht viel davon. Wir brauchen ein paar Leute, die Verstand und gegenseitiges Vertrauen und Verlässlichkeit im jüdischen Sinne haben. Diese brauchen gar nicht offiziel konstituiert zu werden, vorläufig wenigstens. Sie sollen sich aber darüber einigen, welche paar Leute die Bildung des Programms und Lehrkörpers machen sollen. Später kann die Fakultät der Lehrer diese Angelegenheiten selbst in die Hand nehmen. Wir müssen diese Sache einmal besprechen, bevor ich irgend was mit Rosenbergˣˣ mache.
Vielleicht ist dies Unsinn, ich glaube aber kaum. Schwiesslich machen es immer einer oder zwei und die andern komplizieren nur.
