The letter to Thomas Mann is enclosed. I approve of your suggestions regarding Boris Schwarz; it’s all right for you to mention his name. Please briefly let me know to whom he should apply upon his arrival.
I have no special mediation preferences in Europe. Unfortunately, I don’t know Robert Cecil at all, Léon Blum only superficially. I enclose introductions to both for you.

Anbei der Brief an Thomas Mann. Mit Ihren Vorschlägen betreffend Boris Schwarz bin ich einverstanden; Sie können ruhig seinen Namen nennen. Teilen Sie mir bitte kurz mit, an wen er sich bei seiner Ankunft wenden soll.
In Europa habe ich keine besonderen Vermittlungswünsche. Robert Cecil kenne ich leider gar nicht, Léon Blum nur oberflächlich. An Beide lege ich Ihnen Einführungen bei.
