Field Day is over at last. I didn’t do wonders at all for I didn’t want to be strenuous, but I did fairly well in a 50 yd dash and the standing broad jump. The enjoyable part of it was the fuss the girls made over me. Four different ones each

I got a room for Mrs Snow at my laundresses - she has just two rooms. Now if you would just decide to come I can get the other room for you if you let me know by next Saturday.
Your letter didn’t reach me till yesterday afternoon, too late for a note from me to have reached the [unclear]. Prafs I can write one for them to get just after they land. I’m sort of weary now so I’ll not write anymore till tomorrow.
