Tuesday Dec 3, 1901.
Dearest dad
I got your letter this morning and was awfully glad to hear from you. I have been thinking about Xmas presents lately, and wondering what you were going to give sister. Unless you have already decided, if you will send me four or five dollars I can get you something for her as they have very pretty things at the stores here that I know she would like to have. If you decide

to send it please send it right away as I want to get all my Xmas shopping done as soon as possible.
Isn’t it fine to have Mrs Snow there. Doesn’t she look well and handsome? How long is she going to stay?
Well, I must study now so bye bye
Your little pigelene
