anything more, he spoke in such a friendly, happy way. As he was leaving we all rose and said, "Here's to you and your good family, may you live long & prosper." He seemed very much pleased. The evening of this same day we all went in town to see him in Rip—and it was so nice to see him acting just after Nov. hearing him talk about the stage, in the afternoon.
