Dear Mother + Father:

I'm just the same. My throat is still very sore + I still have fever. It was 101 when I woke up + it s 99 3/5 now (11 AM) I also have a pretty bad cough. + cold in my nose. I guess I'm booked for quite some time here.

Don't worry about me. I'll tell you exactly how I am - + I'll also tell the whole truth which is more than some other people I know sometimes do!
