Dearest -
We arrived O.K. of course, having had a grand and glorious time on the train . There were six of us that played together on the way up and only one had not seen “Peg O’ my Heart” at sometime during her career - we talked Irish all the way and the time of our lives. Every last one of us had a box of candy
and that added to the enjoyment - but I did not get either French or German done at all - nor did I set up and do them last night.
I shiver-in my shoes when I think of approaching Mrs. Tillinghast with the weekly week-end proposition at perhaps my “lucky star“ will come to the fore as per usual.
All this has been very impolitely written at breakfast, and I must eat now -
