Dear Nathan,
I wrote Judge Lehman again, but quite cautiously. The rule means an injustice only for older physicians who are also political refugees. If it were possible to push through a milder rule for such cases, it would certainly be fair. This whole thing is surely attributable to professional envy and I don’t want to know how many of our own dear Jews are to blame for it.
