Dear Nathan,
Enclosed is a promotional leaflet by the Relief Association. Don’t you think that we should send some 100 or 150 dollars out of our fund? Perhaps with the following cover letter: “Particularly favorable circumstances allow us to forward to you the enclosed amount for this noble relief work…” 
All of us are well and enjoying ourselves together up here; and I am already sailing diligently on a little boat that the mayor of Saranac—for the greater glory of God—donated to me for the duration of my stay here.
