I fully agree to proposals 1a and 1b and would be pleased if you wrote to Guggenheim in the proposed manner. If Switzerland should become occupied, it would probably soon put an end to Guggenheim’s administration and ultimately also to the building ownership. I’m sending you in the same post the receipt for Mr. Guggenheim you mentioned. Concerning the billing, please tell the lawyers that I view it as their due right to bill me for their efforts on the will. But do also say that they should take into account that this is not the will of a millionaire, but of someone who is leaving behind a large number of persons in very precarious circumstances.
