Dear Sir:
I herewith enclose an account of my expenditures at our Salt Spring, Mr. Grangers proposition and yours amounting to the sum of Thirty seven dollars 47.5/100 for which sum I have taken the liberty of drawing on you in favor of Mr. Joseph Colt of Palmyra.
I think it important that Mr. Horton yourself and me should have an interview previous to your departure for the City of Washington, to determine what measures will be most expedient for our operations in the Spring. It will be necessary that provisions &ca. should be procured without delay, that they may be sent as near as may be by Sleighing. -
There is a man here who is by profession a digger and blaster of rocks - he will undertake our business either by the job or day -
