Sir, I am requested by the Chiefs in council to inform you that they … do their endeavor (as soon as it is in their power,) to make William Pintuck up to the lots of his mile but- they do not expect that they can do it, as soon as next Spring but will as soon it is in their power-- They wish you to know … the matter and make this necessary arrangements to meet the circumstances of the caro.  They hope for an answer if necessary from you.
