This is to certify that Jasper Parrish of the town of Canandaigua in the county of Ontario in the twenty-fourth collection district of New-York, hath paid the duty of two dollars, for the year to end n the 31st day of December next, for and upon a two wheel carriage, called a Chaise owned by him and the harness used therefor. This certificate to be of no avail any longer than the aforesaid carriage shall be owned by the said Jasper Parrish unless said certificate shall be produced to a collector, and an entry be made thereon, specifying the name of the then owner of said carriage, and the time when he became possessed thereof.
