It having been represented to me by you that the Standard presented to the Ontario Troop of horse formerly commanded by me, was claimed by both the Canadagua & Bloomfield Troops, and that my Opinion on the Subject was wish'd for by the officers of both Troops, I can have no hesitation in saying that I consider the Standard in question as having been presented by Capt Johnston to the Canadagua Troop to whom in my opinion it now belongs.
