Original journal from a trip through Europe in the summer of 1827. Also includes an edited typescript of the journal, Robbins' passport, ca. 1827; and a photograph of the Stewart estate near Ipswich, Suffolk, England.

Correspondence, primarily letters received, 1919-1955, concerning a European trip, publishing, translations of her work, comment on her writing, contracts, and personal affairs; manuscripts and typescripts of her novels and short stories primarily from the 1920s and 1930s; her notes concerning Tibetan Buddhist literature; and photographs and other miscellaneous items.

Correspondence, diaries, manuscripts and typescripts, newspaper clippings, travel documents, legal and financial papers, family papers, photographs, printed materials and miscellaneous items relating to the life and work of Eloise Ellery. There is also significant collection of items which belonged to Frank Ellery.

Papers primarily concerning Flanagan's teaching and theater activities at Vassar College and her work with the Federal Theater Project. Includes correspondence, curriculum materials, scripts and other play records, reports, speeches, programs, playbills, photographs, scrapbooks, and clippings.

The Jean Webster Papers at the Vassar College Libraries Department of Special Collections are part of the McKinney Family Papers, a collection of papers from the Clemens, Moffett, Webster, and McKinney families. They were donated to Vassar College in 1977, along with the endowment of a chair in American Literature, in honor of Jean Webster. The donors are Jean McKinney Connor, daughter of Jean Webster and Glenn Ford McKinney, and her husband Ralph Connor, a former trustee of Vassar.

Materials relating to Whitney's position at Vassar College as well as her involvement with the American Association of University Professors, the International Council of Women, the National Council of Women, Connecticut Association of Working Girls' Clubs, and other women's groups. There are also biographical materials, including correspondence and diaries, containing information about Whitney's family, intellectual pursuits, travels and other personal issues.

typewritten copies), 17 manuscripts, 2 travel diaries (attributed to Davis' niece)
and miscellaneous papers.

Includes manuscripts, notes, diaries, clippings, certificates, deeds and photographs; but of particular note are the letters Clemens wrote to his family describing his early adulthood as well as the development and progression of his writing career.
