and press clippings. Files hold typescripts, handwritten notes and drafts, as well
as academic notebooks. Family papers in the collection include correspondence, press
clippings, photographs and family history files, including some genealogy
documentation. Press clippings include reviews of Coyle's writings, as well as
clippings regarding selected family members. Collection contains photographic
prints, CDs, DVDs, as well as audio and video cassettes.

Papers consist mostly of correspondence concerning her personal and literary interests, including her original letters to Mary H. Rollins, Elkin Mathews, and others, 1887-1919; photocopies of her letters to Annie Adams Fields (Mrs. James T. Fields) and to Sarah Orne Jewett, 1884-1914; and microfilm copy of her letters in the Library of Congress and the Huntington Library. Other items include biographical and bibliographic materials; copies of Guiney's published works; microfilm copy of a dissertation on Guiney by Mary Murphy, 1939; and correspondence about Guiney between Vassar and Immaculate Heart College, 1979.

The William K. Rose Papers document Vassar College English Professor Rose’s study of modernist literature, Vorticism, and in particular, the writings of Wyndham Lewis. The majority of the correspondence in the collection documents Rose’s efforts to locate and study Lewis’s letters to friends and associates. Files include correspondence, research and subject files, press clippings, manuscripts, notebooks, playbills, periodicals, photographs, and audio tape.
