with Vassar College, written by Vassar students, faculty or staff, or by persons of historical
and cultural significance.

Undated manuscripts of her stories and other writings including text and sketches for THE JOY FAMILY; and clippings, correspondence, and pamphlets concerning her writing, her art, her anti-war poetry, peace demonstrations and letter writing campaigns, and other pacifist concerns, 1932-1963.

Slaughter's manuscripts on the history of women and Great Britain, as well as correspondence with Vassar College about her work.

Typescripts, illustrations, and proof copy of her book published in 1976; three chapters from an unpublished autobiography; and a bibliography of her work.

The collection contains botanical illustrator Jeanne Russell Janish's original paleontology drawings from a class at Stanford University and her original drawings for by Roxana Ferris (Berkeley, University of California Press, 1970). Also included are two oil paint sketches by Janish of Vassar College's Chapel and Library and Chapel.
