far as traveling alone goes and as to the objections mamma makes. I am sure some of my friends would be glad to have me for a few days even at that time, and if they wouldn't, why that removes one of the reasons why I want to stay. And I might as well go along up with you. As to Mamma and the maid being left alone on the island and being obliged to have some one stay with them

I think Mamma ought not to have to get ready to go to the island all alone, and if I came home on the 18, and was going to stay over after you went, why I could pitch in and devote my self entirely to work until you got off and might be able to help come.
