Dear Folks:-
Such a perfect day as this is never was made - just as warm and lovely. And this morning Hugh Black preached and he was so splendid and so practical. This afternoon we are going up on Service for our support, and I know it will be beautiful.
Last night we had Students’ Elections, and I don’t believe you ever heard of the girl who is President for next year -
The silly chapter play came off yesterday afternoon, and was lots of fun to do, and we are quite flattered
Next week we have the nominations for Christians and their more excellence - it’s really heartrending just at the moment.
Will you ask the girls - or will they ask themselves as long as this letter is as much to them as anybody else! - to put in my fountain pen with my clothes - it is [brown] and pulls in and out. Also did anyone ever return St. [Caxsore’s] Triangle Music to her? It came over one [unreadable] a sickening thud the other day. Clare Allen and G. [unreadable] have been visiting M. Taylor. Well I must stop and go do an errand in North before the picnic starts.
Love to all
As Ever
