Dear parents; -

Rain -- it has been at it for three days. Never saw it rain harder than it did last night.

G. slept with me at Cary’s for a [chance?]. ^last night. She is at Latin now, 3.30 -

down town tonight with [Lu?] from 7 to 9 - [Lu ...o?]. They read this year one book entirely new to me, and the book I sent home for, which I read 1st semester and parts of two b’ks we had last yr., 2nd semester, - making it rather hard.

Hope Wm’s knee will recover soon. Fine ab’t Bess Batchelor and

I still think momie writes awfully clever letters.

Dear - that $40 has melted away - “what with” $16 for bills, my board ^and also a thousand and one other things it is nearly “[...ant?]”. I don’t know how much we want. You might send a mileage.
