Dear mother, Father, and Pete:

Two bottles of medicine came today. I am glad you sent it, because the stuff from Woods‘ does not seem the same. How long am I to continue it? Evidently it was colder outside then I thought yesterday, and I must have sat out too long, because I feel punk
today, as though I had been chilled. Everytime I think I ought to be able to leave here soon, something turns up.

Miss Kitchel told me today she liked the last theme I wrote! I must be improving. I handed in my long theme on Matthew Arnold and the Sea" today. I hope she likes that, too.

I got three handkerchiefs in the mail from PH. Hanaurer. What is the occasion -- is it because I was in the hospital four weeks ago?

Debate does not seem to arouse any too much interest around your way, Pete. I know one that will try out for the sophomore team next year arounfl these parts.

Wishing you the same,

Fannie

The drug-store packages always come in the regular mail, so don't bother the 10¢ to send them special.
