[Oct. 27, 1913]

Dear Mother -
Just a baby-note to say that I’m not going to bring Freddie home thiw week-end (her Mother is coming) - and will go back Friday as usual. It poured all Saturday, so ‘14 couldn’t go to Mohonk and postponed it till next week-end. I made the hockey-team, much to the joy of all my friends (and myself).
It has poured for four days and we’re getting desperate - have a class in 6 minutes -
        Bye -
        Muriel.
