I am in debt three letters to you, I believe, and will [?] all of them to the best of my ability. In opening your letter, I dropped the specimen you sent me and was not able to find it again. Those you were to send by mail, I have not received. I just came up from New York last evening where I spent Thanksgiving. Of course there was a great deal to interest me, and as the weather was charming. I had a most delightful time.
