Dear Family,

Don’t be surprised at the paper, but I might just as well use it up, as it won’t do any good next year.
Exams were over on Thursday. Thank goodness. Thursday night 1910 gave us Strong steps and we feel so proud. Yesterday spent part of the day in the Alumnae Headquarters and in Rockefeller where they came to register and they are simply killing.

The old ones are twice as nice as the younger ones who tear in and out and patronize the undergraduates. Last night 1909 gave us eight of their songs - including all the odd class marching songs and we feel that we are almost, if not quite, Juniors. Lots of people are back - 1907, slews of 1904, and two darling old ladies from 1869 -- think of it, Fanny Swan is floating around and signing her name in the register as she has done every year - she’s really pathetic. I am on the lookout for the New Haven crowd, and am hoping they come

tomorrow instead of Tuesday. The college has its festive fluffy ruffles [unreadable] on and isn’t our college any more at all. Last night 1909 gave their Tree Ceremonies over again, and they were lovely -- fairies with tiny flashing lights. Today was Baccalaureate Sunday, and I ushered and had lots of fun -- the families are so queer! We usher again tonight at Sunday Music, and again on Commencement Da, so we ought to know how the chapel seats are numbered before we get through. Prexy’s sermon was better this year than last, and his little talk to the Seniors was just fine. It is lovely and cool today, thank fortune, and we are hoping it keeps so tomorrow. Nothing very important happens except the Shakespeare-Dickens boat ride that evening! Tuesday is class day, and Wednesday is Commencement and then on Thursday I will be with you! I don’t believe you’ll hear from me again by word of paper and [unreadable]. I’ll save all the descriptions to tell you. So bye bye for a few days.
