Dear Mother, Father, and Pete:
Lucy left at 10;05 train. We had a terrific storm last night till about eleven. As a result she had a bad form of night mare and spent the whole night in screams. Needless to say, it was none too restful. But it was great to have her, in spite of such incidents.
Miss Hamilton is here. I shall see her tonight. Helen is sick. We had quite a time getting her off to the infirm last night. It took several hours of persuasion. She is much better today. I have to call her Mother up tonight.
