Dear Family -

Typed transcription of page 1 of letter …………………………
Today has been a nice quiet [unreadable] Sunday. This morning Margaret Brady and Caroline and I took quite a long walk out toward Pleasant Valley, and enjoyed it so much; it has been a queer grayish day, with little snow flurries. We had such a huge snow storm Thursday that sleighing parties have been in vogue [unreadable]! Friday night the Walking Club - that used to go on picnics in the fall - went on one and last night Hall Play people went on one. I suppose we will stop having jamborees sometime! It was lots of fun, and we ended up at

Carey’s and had waffles. Pretty stylish party, I guess! Tomorrow night there is to be a Christians Meeting to discuss the best method of choosing the delegates for the different Conferences this June. Tonight we are going to have a talk by the head of the [unreadable] Street Settlement in New York which ought to be very interesting.
We are momentarily expecting the Daisy Chain to be announced, as rumor has it that they are all chosen, and great excitement prevails. The Inter-Society Debate [comes] off the 20th and everybody who has anything to do with that is just [unreadable].
I wish there was something

really thrilling going on, but we are just at present merily “living out college life.” Val had a guest here Saturday who is a Bryn Mawr girl, and knows Mary [Pierce] and [unreadable], so I heard a little home news.
We are counting the days to get home -- I hope it flies.
Most Lovingly
Marjorie
