You dear darling adorable goodlooking sister of mine! Your picture came ten minutes ago and I have been dancing around with it in my hand ever since. What a duck you were to have it taken and to surprise me with it. And it’s so good! Just as pretty as can be, you angel. Betty is crazy about it and Fanny Bell who came in while I was demented with ecstacy
remembers having picked up your cape for you once during your visit here. It is by far the best picture I ever saw of you. Did you have any other styles taken? I’m going to get a little black frame for it right away. You just simply can’t imagine how happy I am to have it and I could go on enthusing forever if I hadn’t so much work to do, but I must say goodbye. I can’t send any kisses for I’ve given them all to the picture. Peg.
