Mr. Vassar,
Having recently visited Po’keepsie and the building which is being erected by you for the purpose of providing female education I can but feel deeply interested in the noble cause and as I have a friend that may perhaps be persuaded to enter (if (..) until its completion) I should be gratified to receive a circular and would thank you kindly for one hoping to have what qualifications will be requisite to become a student at the opening of the school- May God speed the glorious cause of education
