Your kind note enclosed to me by Mr.
Phinney came to hand this morning, and the subject to which
it refers will be laid before our Board at their next meeting
and a consideration given to it which its importance demands
I regret exceedingly that my poor health
will not admit my making this communication verbaly to you at
the Rochester commencement Exercises tomrrow.
