Dear Mr. Underwood

If not too late ask your friend who proposes to publish the trac, to wait until the next North American Review comes out the middle of April, as that will contain an article from me in line with The Index articles and will go well together.

It is very depressing to see how women are degraded and defrauded everywhere by the perversion of the religious emotions which should be used for their freedom and devotion. I hope your wife will help me to set forth in glowing colors this point. Can it be possible that O.B. Frothingham
