Dear Dad,

Transcription of page 1 of letter …………………………….
Thanks muchly for your generosity -- the ticket is all safely bought, and I admire it several times a day. This is an awful nightmare this week -- not much but work, but we hope to be at peace soon. The Seniors are having vacation and we look at them with envious eyes as they wander aimlessly around, or sit calmly under a tree while the rest of us

scurry back and forth.
I must finish a Psychology topic, so farewell. I’ll see you all two weeks from today. Hooray!
Take care of yourself, and have all the flowers there to greet me -- and be sure you’re there too, for you’re the flower of all, you know!
Lots of love, and thanks again for the cheque.
As Ever

Marjorie
