The news of the new dress delights my heart, and it does sound so pretty! As to your writing a note to Polly I hardly know what to say -- but I don’t believe it would do any harm. [Given] ‘twould be a good plan. You are an angel May Louise to be thinking of Christmas books
for me to send people. I think you’re pretty fine anyway. I’ve just gotten your note -- I’m so glad you liked Ekie’s verses, though I knew you would. The University club must be grand. How was Eloise’s debut? I got such a delightful bread-and-butter letter from her t’other day.
I have to go to a class
now so this won’t be but just a note. I’ll have oh so much to tell you when I see you! We had some kodal pictures of our sitting room taken last night which I’m anxious for you to see as soon as they are finished up.
