Abstract
This project weaves through personal experiences of gender dysphoria and the implementation of Internal Family Systems Therapy as a therapeutic technique, offering insight into the therapy's development and potential benefits for individuals facing mental health issues related to gender identity. By showcasing the efficacy of IFS through previous studies, personal accounts, and additional considerations of gender identity and embodiment, the work highlights IFS as a valuable tool for all individuals, with a particular focus on transgender and gender non-conforming people.
