Description
First part of the inauguration of Frances Fergusson as President of Vassar College. Includes the full procession and welcome remarks by Chair of the Board of Trustees Mary Draper Janney (VC 1942). The speakers following include Vassar Student Association President Richard D. Feldman (VC 1987); AAVC president Liz Wexler Quinlan (VC 1959); Vassar art professor Peter G. Huenink; Wellesley President Nannerl O. Keohane; and Yale President Benno C. Schmidt, Jr.. The interlude between speakers includes three pieces performed by the choir and brass quartet.
