in spite of my train wanderings. He was very nice, provided me liberally with magazines [new] as generally useful and [unreadable]. Up here it is very warm and we are all trotting round in summer dresses and waiting for trunks! Everybody is well and has had a fine time and most everybody is here now. Must make my bed now, alas!
